Cheap and poorly balanced

I am so disappointed in this pan. I should have guessed that the price was too low, but the Cuisinart name deceived me. I've just been using the pan for oil frying and found two major issues: First, the handle is too heavy for the pan so it tilts to one side - the bottom doesn't lay flat on the burner (see image). As a result, it will bake unevenly. And second, the milk powder chunks I was trying to brown stuck to the bottom. I've been browning butter for a number of years - I know the…

Buyers beware the best in kitchen and dining room

Update: Do not buy this dangerous POS. I have only used this pot a few times. I've tipped over a pot twice and the hot water has burned me and splashed on the floor. Too heavy a grip is dangerous. Any slight movement in the pan, such as B. stirring, it can easily tip over. I never had a pot to do this so it was very unexpected. Danger to consumers and should not be sold. This pan is very thin and can easily tip over due to the heavy handle. I almost burned myself boiling water in a pot. The…

YES, it works with induction!

I'm sooo glad I bought this pan! It has all the features I was looking for. It's October 18th. It is oven safe up to 500 degrees and ready for induction. Speaking of which, there are many reviews stating that it's not ready for launch, and those reviews either don't know anything about the product or were written by competitors trying to scare people away from this product. I have attached 3 photos which clearly show that this pot is indeed induction ready. I tried it on my induction hob and…

Terrible fun

Let me start by saying I hate writing bad reviews but this product was just that. wrong. The first problem was entirely my own fault - I didn't realize how small the 1 liter pan was. The photos have such large angles that I didn't even look at the actual size. When it arrived it looked like a child's toy. I babysat a two year old girl who had a fake kitchen and her fake pot was the same size as this one. Second, everything, literally everything, sticks to the ground. I made the same Knorr pasta

Forget expensive European frying pans, buy these.

Works like an expensive fully clad version at a great price. Because it's a saucepan and not a fryer, fish pan, casserole or grill, I use it to make sauces and it excels in that role. Note that many of the less than happy reviews have been written by people who use it for everything from candle making to casting lead bullets to baking cookies and boiling whiskey malt. This skillet, or any other coated multi-metal sandwich panel, should not be heated too hot or too quickly and should be kept…

Don't believe the bad reviews - this is a great pan

I bought the Cuisinart 12 piece set but found I really wished I had a small pan to cook with small batches work. One criticism that would apply is that the small size makes it unstable on a gas stove grid. The width of the pan is 6.5 inches, the handle is another 6 inches. If you have an open mesh gas stove, the buyer must have foreseen the problem. This is probably why this pan was not included in the large set. If you only have large cooking utensils, yes, they will fall out of the pot or…
