Update: Do not buy this dangerous POS. I have only used this pot a few times. I've tipped over a pot twice and the hot water has burned me and splashed on the floor. Too heavy a grip is dangerous. I bought the Cuisinart 12 piece set but found I really wished I had a small pan to cook with small batches work. One criticism that would apply is that the small size makes it unstable on a gas stove grid. The width of the pan is 6.5 inches, the handle is another 6 inches. If you have an open mesh gas stove, the buyer must have foreseen the problem. This is probably why this pan was not included in the large set.
