Bought as an additional alarm clock. I can set it up the night before and then wake up to the smell of fresh coffee. I usually drink a French Press and use a separate coffee grinder on weekends, but this is a good alternative when I don't have much time during the work week.

Bought this coffee maker to replace the older Cuisinart generation. All the inconveniences we had with the old version of the coffee maker have been resolved in this coffee maker. I'm surprised how much tasty coffee is with this coffee maker. Cleaning the grinding area is just a minor inconvenience after each full bean hopper. Bye. I can't get enough of this coffee maker!

I had one of these for 2 years and it eventually died. I was hesitant to exchange because of the reviews. When I checked other brands I found that they were no better. I'm glad I bought it for the second time. It's quieter, slightly quicker in brewing time, the chute doesn't need to be cleaned very often, and the brush fits in the chute. I'll give it a 5 if the grind gets finer. They are rough and use a lot of beans.

The coffee maker needs frequent cleaning or does not set up properly, sometimes daily. Cleaning isn't easy, and the all-in-one convenience wins, so to speak. In addition, the coffee pot leaks constantly. Cuisinart replaced the decanter lid for us, but nothing really changed. Very unhappy.
