I have tried very hard, Cuisnart #

I was trying to replace my Krupps coffee grinder after this machine broke it. I waited a while before writing this review hoping I would get used to it. I did not. i hate this monster First, it's poorly designed. There are four parts (2 for the grinder and 2 for the filter) that need to be disassembled and cleaned daily, and that's not counting the pot itself. This in itself seems entirely unnecessary and annoying. The meat grinder will grind for as long as she fucking pleases. It doesn't…

Pros
  • A product built to North American electrical standards; A NOTICE. Before use read the instruction manual in the datasheet
Cons
  • Safety

I strongly advise against buying this coffee maker.

Not a fan of this coffee maker. Thought it was a waste of money. First, there is no tank for coffee beans. There's only a small built-in grinder, which I don't think will hold enough beans to make a full 12 cups of coffee (I love strong coffee). Every time we started the coffee maker, somehow after the beans were ground, water kept getting into the grinder and we had to remove it, clean the coffee grounds out of the grinder, dry it and replace it every time. The coffee he made was really weak…

Pros
  • The activated carbon water filter and the permanent gold filter ensure that only the freshest coffee aroma penetrates.
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Don't waste your money

Started off well but then decided to start acting like a poltergeist. At first I really wanted a coffee maker with an internal grinder and carafe after using Keurig for several years. I studied a lot and decided to do it. I liked it, although cleaning the grinder after each cup of coffee was a big mess. The coffee grinder obtains moisture from heating water and brewing coffee, leaving a messy mess behind. There is also a lot of dirt when the coffee grounds are blown into the basket/filter. You…

Pros
  • 12 cup automatic coffee maker with built in automatic bean grinder
Cons
  • Great price

So the new Capresso grinder/boiler failed after only a few months due to poor design/parts. However, the design of the Capresso machine was smart and functional until it just didn't work for me anymore. This Cuisinart suffers from very poor design. The people who designed this thing are conscientious idiots. Question: What is the point of a combined ground and brew coffee machine? Answer: convenience! Ironic plot twist: This device is the polar opposite of convenience. As with all the other…

Pros
  • Includes measuring spoon and instruction manual
Cons
  • Frequency
