I've been drinking coffee in a Moka Pot for about a decade and this is the best coffee pot I've found. We installed an induction cooktop and had to replace my favorite aluminum moka pots which not only run on induction but make fantastic coffee in moka pots. It's easy to clean and has never let me down in a year of use.

I have several versions of stovetop coffee makers and this is my favourite. Makes very good coffee. I agree with other reviewers that there is no metallic taste. A few notes: I use a gas stove and to prevent the handle from getting hot I use a moderate flame (no more than the base of a coffee maker) and make sure the base, not the handle, is on the end of the Stove. This is a great espresso machine. The espresso isn't as "thick" as our old aluminum coffee pot, but that's okay because we know it's "clean" coffee. Whatever grows at the bottom of an aluminum pot is not in that pot. And we LOVE that we get more coffee from a brew. Makes good coffee. If someone says they don't, then they're using it incorrectly, or they're using poor-quality coffee, or they just don't like strong coffee. This isn't rocket science.
