Makes good coffee. If someone says they don't, then they're using it incorrectly, or they're using poor-quality coffee, or they just don't like strong coffee. This isn't rocket science. Pour water into the bottom, put coffee in the basket (as many as you like), unscrew and place on the stove. On my gas stove it takes about 3 minutes. There's a thin crema, but it's not exactly espresso. The coffee machine is made of thick stainless steel. Even the gasket is snug without overtightening. Some have complained that the handle gets hot but suspect they are using an electric stove. Mine doesn't get hot. The spout is good, doesn't drip like my old one. This is the only coffee maker I use other than my Illy espresso machine, so I use it every day. It's expensive, but you'll use it for a long time.
