🚐 Culligan RV-700 White Water Filter: Superior Pre-Tank Solution for Recreational Vehicles Review

I live in my house on wheels all the time and get water from sources I don't know. That saves me from worrying about this water consumption. I used my first one for about a year and calculated that I spilled about as many gallons as it said it would, then bought another because I was happy with the first one. I highly recommend it.

Water filtration from local campgrounds definitely doesn't hurt. But it just doesn't pull enough chlorine flavor out of the water. I'm sure it would be a lot worse without the filter but I expected it to do better, at least in the chlorine department. I plan to upgrade to a better filter so we can drink tap water instead of taking so many bottles.

Unfortunately this item is made in China. There is no mention of this anywhere on the packaging. I had to call their customer service (it's a US number) to get the truth about where it's made. I hope that the American company Culligan will instead move their production to America so that they can proudly display the Made in America flag on their boxes.

Easily rid the water of the sulphur/iron taste at the parks we've stayed at. I like to screw the filter directly onto the water outlet and then attach it to a hose that then goes to the van. I have found that this keeps sand and rust from getting into my hose. So when I get home and connect the hose to my RV, I don't add rust particles etc. to my fresh water tanks.

Bought this along with many other items in preparation for a holiday, opened the package today to get everything set up and was disappointed that it didn't come with a short flexible hose which I thought was available . So now I have to fill my tanks without filters until I can stop somewhere and buy a short hose. I still give it 4 stars as I assume it will work fine once I get the part I thought came with it.

I am not satisfied with this filter for a number of reasons. The lid and stopper are so loose that they don't stay in place. So when you're done, even if you try to drain everything, it would be nice if the lid and plug worked properly. They sent a small adapter hose that was kinked in the middle, I think on delivery of course the plastic is cheap and the kink stays there forever. Another little thing: the input is labeled on one end, but there should be a bold arrow so you can quickly see when
