I'm not particularly sensitive to baking soda, but in the past I've had a bad reaction to natural deodorant. I use Tom's of Maine, no problems. My returned hippie mom gave me a tube of this and I didn't come back. This deodorant is more comparable to Tom's deodorant simply because it has no waxy residue and doesn't feel sticky or oily. Not as long as Tom's, but I work a food truck in hot Florida, so if it lasts 6 hours at my box, it's reliable.

We've been using a paraben/aluminum free deodorant for about a year and have never had any problems, but we wanted to find one that wasn't so 'manly' but that's just as natural. We saw that it was natural and had good reviews. Came, sniffed, rubbed. The first thing we didn't like was how hard the stick was to rub, it hurt and it was very hard. When we woke up the next morning we had a severe rash. No longer worn, will be sent back. The rash worsened as the day progressed.

This deodorant is absolutely horrible to use. It's firm and you have to slide it down your armpit for the product to be applied. Also, do you know how sweater pills are? Well, it's put on your armpits, it's like pills in your armpits. The product just goes into those tiny balls in your armpit that look like sweater ruffles. I have tried so many deodorants at Revain. From arrogance to expensive $15 sticks to $8 sticks. Everything is either too expensive to keep buying or completely devoid of smell, sweat etc. I'm very glad I bought this. Still a bit pricey but way better than $15 and I think it's working better so far. Highly recommended.
