Not as bright as I had hoped.

I honestly bought this light because I accidentally bought a Dawn/Dusk lighting controller with a Current Single Ramp timer and didn't realize it wouldn't work with my current LED bar setup. and I was dying to use the sunrise and sunset feature, so I thought. Why not?. I just installed it on my 75 gallon tank which is 48 inches long and 21 inches high and I'm not overly impressed. The cheap LED light that came with my tank was brighter and longer lasting. This bends in the middle. The…

but easy enough to understand and i really enjoy it.

Just received (18-24 inch version) and installed today. I use it on a standard 10 gallon tank and it fits snugly. The wiring is slightly different but easy to figure out and I really enjoy the controls, although the literal controls are a bit oddly placed, the fact that you can independently adjust the blue and white lights from full intensity to off. awesome, as well as modes like passing clouds and lightning bolts (which you can also control independently for blue and white light modes). Very

They will not contact you

I can't get the seller to contact me about the broken adapter on my aquarium light. All I need is a new adapter, the rest of the light is fine. I bought two flashlights so troubleshooting was easy. That's how I know it's a non-working adapter that's not working. I've been trying to call and email since I first opened the light and found the adapter not working. I am glad that my aquariums already have lamps, otherwise I would be very annoyed. Anyway, I'm very upset because they haven't…

Ideal low cost adequate lighting with dimming function

Requires basic lighting for a quarantine aquarium weighing only 75g Detached from the image with a row of LEDs mixed with blue and white, it won't get too bright but will be muted for less stress in young fish, young fish or sick catfish that prefer weak light. I was even more impressed when I could independently dim the white or blue to a very subtle amount of light to inspect the occupants and their condition. At normal output it also provides the perfect amount of light for everyday show…

Good light, blue light Requires software timer

Received this light today and it might be premature to review but I'm happy with the purchase. I have a 46 inch freshwater nose with a classic 5 sided rectangular light box with a single fluorescent tube which is fairly standard for aquariums. I'm tired of changing bulbs. This lamp fits. My old unit was 36 inches long so I got a longer 36-48 inch strip and I'm glad I did. Easy installation. No light scattering in space. T5. My only comment, thus missing a star, is that the wired remote control…

The light is excellent. A few small improvements could be used.

First off, this light transformed our 10 gallon tank. The light is more natural and allows us to better observe the fish. It also reduced the amount of algae that would grow in the aquarium. Other local aquarists have praised the durability and reliability of this model. It certainly looks well built, with an aluminum body and light bar. I gave one star for three reasons. I wish the controls were easier. To be honest I'd prefer if they offered fixed modes (about 7 of them, of which there are…

OK. Too expensive for what it is.

So this light works. But it's not as bright as I was hoping. It is advertised for 18-24" aquariums. They were regular 10-20 gallon tanks. But I tried 20 gallons and it just wasn't bright enough. I suppose if you didn't have live plants and only wanted you to see the tank that might be ok. That said, I still find it a bit boring. I think it's a much better fit for a 10 gallon tank. And yet, even at 10, I don't think it's would be good for live plants with higher light requirements. After seeing…
