Best Investment for Your RV

When I got my hands on this automotive hitch, there was nothing to complain about. The perfect addition to my RV, it is durable and easy to install. It has an impressive towing capacity and fitting for a range of trailers. The product even came with pre-drilled holes, making the installation even more convenient. The only downside is that it is slightly more expensive than other hitches in the market. However, it is still good value for money considering the quality and longevity of this…

Pros
  • Large 4 inch receiver is compatible with a range of vehicle makes and models, providing versatility.
Cons
  • May require professional installation services, adding to the overall cost of the product.

Not impressed - More

Husband would like more details: Easy installation. After installation I noticed that the orientation of the receiver did not line up with the center line of the car. The 2 front bolt holes had to be drilled to the left, which centered the hitch with the center line of the car. After contacting Kurt I was told I could enlarge the holes to adjust the alignment. No other alternative was offered. The coupling holes must first be properly drilled. (In other words, it was a Catterwampus!). I…

Pros
  • HIGH VERSATILITY. Add useful and versatile towing capabilities to your vehicle with this Class 1 hitch. It features a standard 1-1/4" x 1-1/4" hitch, allowing you to tow a small trailer or a luggage rack or can mount a bike rack
Cons
  • Can't remember but there was something

As mentioned in one review, the pre-drilled holes are misaligned. In my case, the holes in the front skid plate were aligned and there was no side-to-side skewing. However, the distance between the holes in the front base plate and the rear U-bolt holes is less than about 4mm. This means that while the front bolts sit flush and clean, the rear U-bolt enters the holes at a 20 degree angle and the nuts cannot be tightened flush. This might not matter if you're just using the bike hitch. Luggage…

Pros
  • RELIABLE STRENGTH. With a durable welded steel construction, this Class 1 hitch is rated for 1500 lbs. gross trailer weight and 150 lbs. Drawbar weight (limited to lowest rated drawbar component)
Cons
  • Available in black only
