We just bought a used shelf stereo and couldn't pick up any radio stations. After getting this and plugging an adapter into the FM socket, reception was excellent. That is very gratifying. We are happy to test and verify new TV and/or radio antennas from this company!

This is an "active" antenna, meaning it has a built-in amplifier. My experience is that it doesn't have good noise isolation, which means it can become difficult to place on nearby objects, TVs, power cords, and electronics. The only way you really know is if you understand it and hope you don't run into interference problems.
