What a bummer, the internal threads don't even come close to matching the threads on my locks. Thrown away 20 minutes after receipt.

Bought for a '92 Marquis. I thought it was old enough for them to fit, but I was wrong. You were *just* in the wrong thread. Luckily they're made out of very high quality aluminum, so a little knock later and I'm rocking some pretty good new locks for my doors.

open the doors and when I locked myself in from the outside there was no way of getting in. Now I can use the hanger to squeeze in the doors and open them when I let my stupid self lock again.

They're pretty well done. Cuts and lines are clean. They feel solid. The top of the handles are grippy, which is good. I found them too long for my application; they stick out too far. This cannot be the manufacturer's fault, but a difference between car manufacturers. may be. I have to cut mine in half, drill out and rethread. but that may not be the case with you. Otherwise they seem to be a good product.

These will look great on some cars and trucks. The 2015 Ford F-150 is NOT included. They do not fit. Arrived today as expected but they don't match the threads of the rod so are useless to me. Why is it so difficult to find a replacement for the cheap plastic parts that Ford uses? While I glued the original to make it work and my hunt continues. I daresay they won't fit any Ford. But if you have a Ford please include the make and model and let us know if they fit. Many Thanks.

There seem to be at least two different thread sizes for screw-on lock handles. One size should be taken as standard as all options in auto parts retail stores are the same size and slightly larger for my car. I had to go back to those standard sizes and experiment with tape, silicone, and other ideas on my car's threaded rod to make the grip work. This hack only works a few times, if ever. I ordered them because they are metal with the intention of using a drywall anchor to bridge the gap…
