Bought for a SOFA, not a car and LOVE IT!

I actually bought this for my sofa at home. My sofa has tall armrests that curve slightly so the cup holders that sit on them don't work due to the curve. This item works great between the cushions on my sofa, which are naturally very tight. I have an L shaped sofa and since no one is sitting on the curve it sits perfectly between the curved cushion and the outer cushions. LOVE IT!

Works great after modification

As is, it has flat brackets and is too wide to hold my coffee cups or water bottles. Beverages can easily slip and fall during sudden stops or bumps. However, I made a simple modification to the holders and now they work great. What I did was cut out some padding foam and glued it about halfway down one side of each holder. Now my cups and bottles hold tight and don't move at all. When I first tested it, I held the holder upside down and the cups wouldn't budge. See my attached photos. Without…

Decent holder at a decent price

I bought this for my 1980 BMW 5 Series e28. The console in my car is too big to fit in one of these intermediate holders, so I put it in the passenger door pocket (at driver's arm's length) and it fits almost perfectly. The second cup holder is unsuitable because the armrest is on top and gets in the way, but small parts (elastic bands, clips, rubber bands, quarters) can still be accommodated in it. The cup holder is large enough to hold not only a Starbucks Venti coffee mug, but also a…

Extra drink holder that works!

I bought this because there are never enough cup holders with children. 😊. I have a very tight space between the passenger seat and the center console. It won't push all the way down, but it's snug enough to hold everything securely. I wouldn't take a big sip, but most other drinks are fine. The holes are actually slightly larger than the mounts fitted to my car, just not as deep. It takes up part of the passenger seat, but that's what I assumed, and my seats are big enough. I have a Kia…

Not for my mugs Featured in Interior

I wish I could give it 3.5 stars. The mug handle cutout is too narrow for the mugs I currently own. This is the main reason I bought it. Now I have to decide if I want to buy another mug to find the right one, or if I want to continue browsing my mug/mug collection to see if this Cinderella is right for me. Model "Wedge" (two holes), which has served me faithfully for many years. The quality seems to be the same, so everything is fine. I am deducting stars for functionality. The large "mobile…

I love my car and that's the only reason I would ever love it.

Believe it or not, I have a car with no coasters and no drinks! I love my car and the only reason I would sell it is to buy a car with cup holders. I've tried all different cup holder accessories like the ones that hang on the door but the inside of my car door doesn't fall straight down so it didn't work. I tried the ones that attach to the vent but ended up only ripping off part of my vent. I was skeptical when I discovered this cup holder accessory, but I'm desperate. This is the best I've…

Rescuer. for a clean car. and dirty boys

It was a little taste of life during our 9 hour trip to Ohio last weekend! I bought these because my new Mercedes GLK series didn't have a lot of storage/cup holder space. I bought 2. one for the front and one for the back. We have a fold down rear center console with 2 cup holders but my toddler will destroy any drink placed in it and I speak from experience. like the first day of buying the car :(. (My 12 year old boy sat in it with his drink and my 2 year old boy did what most toddlers do…

Functional, practical and affordable!

I have a 2012 Toyota Rav4 and this model has a poorly designed cup mounting system that does not fit most mugs/cups. Even the cup holder insert it came with kept falling out and I ended up losing it (and that insert alone cost over $20). So I decided to search for a universal drink holder and came across this one. It feels bulky, but if your car is short on space, it might be worth the investment. I put it on the passenger seat and I love it. The depth of the cup holder is perfect to keep cups…
