Nice lights BUT - my new review

Harness is to short, either it needs to be made longer or able to buy a 3 wire extension harness, I bought the Nilight extension wires but it is only 2 wire so had to add a wire for both legs. I installed on a Polaris Ranger Crew so was way to short. I really don't know what application this would even fit with wires being so short.

  • put lights on my tahoe front and back it didn't reach i had to add wire for it to work

Might be short. good for me

Looks good and well made. Unfortunately the harness from the relay to the switch were way too short for my application (Chevy Suburban). I had to buy extra 16ga. wire and splice in to make the switch harness longer.

Good enough good for me

Functionality sound & ok. Not made to be a top (near the dome light)switch, but looks good. The fact that it sticks out that much bothers me but it's functional so it should be fine

Don't buy garbage!

100% garbage! Hit the on botton an nothing. The wiring harness is quite lengthy, making it challenging to install in tight spaces. Hit the mode button an would come on bit not stay on. Waste of money an time.

Poor design good for me

I bought this because of recommendation by led light that I purchased. The only issue is wire for switch is too short. The product may generate electromagnetic interference, affecting other devices or components in your car!

Did the job in my review

Got this for a friends 1968 Dodge A108 van that I installed LED fog lights on, this switch and wiring harness made the job very easy, highly recommended.

The wires burned up on us and started smoking now nothing works

Was trying to hook up some lights on vehicle and the wires started burning and smoking on us. So now they will not work. The wiring harness may be prone to corrosion, which could compromise its functionality over time.

Update, product is great. Customer service helped me set up lights properly

Light mode does not work properly. Lights are always opposite each other.Need new controller / transformer module?This is just a guess on my part as I only had to go up to battery positive and negative.UPDATE 6-22-21 Lights have been reset and work perfectly in sync.

Plug and play - my new review

Easy plug and play. Of course for my application the switch wire could have used an extra foot, but it all worked out fine.

This doesn’t work properly

The mode button has to be held in to work. It is not a versatile product, and can only be used with the NAOEVO 6-Mode LED Light Bar. Once released it doesn’t work anymore. Just stays on the light mode.

Can you create a wiring harness yourself?

Unless the lights are being installed right next to the battery and the battery is on the drivers side this harness is useless except for the button to change the modes. I had to create almost 20ft of a wiring harness to attach these to the back of my truck. I then had to add 5ft to the power to reach the battery as it was on the passenger side of my truck.

Good product: my feedback

Your product seems great. One issue is the writing on the button. Since most people are going to install the button from underneath, and come up and over, the writing ends up upside down, as seen in the picture. The writing should be flipped upside down so when installed the way most people will install it, rhe writing will be correct.

It’s easy plug and play but

Easily plug and play. Connectors were cheap but came with extras Incase they needed replaced. I installed on 2016 wrangler. But the switch is too short to have next to my driver side so I have yet to figure something out with that. It’s definitely a universal wiring harness that’s not throughly thought through.

Bad switch, never worked.

I finally got to install those as the weather was cold and my car was in the shop. I got a bad switch, because mine does not even come on. So I tried jumping into it they came on, which led me to believe the switch or the stupid relay is bad.So because I waited so long, I am out of $20.

Highly recommend this for multi-mode lights!

So happy we got the wiring harness to go with the lights to make all the modes work! I love the different settings, the on/off and mode buttons the harness comes with is great, works well, looks nice installed. The harness is great quality, although for my 4 door Jeep we had to add about 6’ of wire onto the harness to make it reach to the rear bumper. Definitely recommend this for your multi- mode lights!

Would definitely buy again

Good quality. I used it to put fog lights in the rear bumper. They look great and the harness looks like it will hold a lot of winter salt wires covered in a thick plastic sleeve.

Great harness best in my review

I had to add wires to the harness to lengthen it. As I have a Chevy Silverado 1500 double cab. I used same color coded wires as harness. The description clearly says 10ft. My truck is almost 20ft.long, you do the math. Works great! I love the ability to change between the 6 different lighting options.
