This is my favorite Color Street nail striping tool. The "scalpel" blade isn't sharp at all, so there's no risk of snipping off an excess strip of polish with it, and the shaded center section makes it a convenient file for smoothing out nail edges. I bought this gel manicure remover at home with acetone. Came sealed and new. It is robust and heavy in the hand, almost like a surgical or dental instrument. There is a curved spoon shaped head on one end which I will use to scrape off gels after soaking in acetone but be careful this side is also quite sharp and you can easily scrape the nail bed if you haven't soaked long enough or applied too much pressure. Bought this to do my own gel manicure at home. It does exactly what I need - it's easy to hold and the cuticle pusher follows the contours of my nail beautifully and pushes EVERYTHING back to make trimming easier. The only thing I noticed is not to press too hard or the steel will scrape and scrape the nail, but it's just a matter of practicing technique. Very happy with this item, my nails look amazing!

Steel construction is a purchase for life. The scoop easily pushes back even my very heavy, thick cuticles. However, be very careful with the end of the blade, which doesn't feel sharp at all. I pressed on him too hard and cut the cuticles until they bled. This is the first time I saw this product and didn't know what I was doing.
