Cutter Upgraded Vegetable Chopper Approved Review

Partially does what it is supposed to do. After 3 revolutions, the tomatoes were not cut into small pieces. Suitable for salad, but not suitable for other vegetables. If you look at the photos the dark green base was badly scratched and the knife actually cut into the plastic leaving a few scraps. I wouldn't gift this item as a gift as breaking the base after one use is not a good sign at all.

I really wanted to like it and judging by the description I freaked out. What I did find, however, was that it was thin. I loved chopped lettuce which is easier to chew (like kale). Unfortunately, when the knife went in, the whole assembly faltered. There were also knife marks based on one use. I used a good knife but because it was so fragile it didn't work as I expected. Too bad, but had to send it back 😞

I carve the head of lettuce for my salads entirely by hand and it's a bit tedious. I found out about this device and ordered it. The first time I tried it I got a quick cut right head of lettuce. I cut along the guides and then rotated the top piece of plastic 45 degrees for the cross section. It wasn't easy, and with a slightly better design it would have been a lot easier.
