failed to connect dual channel amplifier

I have this and a 1000W 8" Infinity reference high output subwoofer (single voice coil) and it didn't work until I disabled bridged mode. It also seems that the dial doesn't change the bass level. It works from any channel but without a bridge. I ended up only running one channel and it was pretty weak.

Pros
  • S/N RATIO, 102 dB; THD, 0.01%
Cons
  • No

never again for car audio

I received the amplifier on time. although there was one big problem. Someone has used the amp before and burned it. A hole was melted into the fabric at the bottom. and stinks of burnt electricity. I plugged it in and tried to get it to work and the power save light only blinked for a split second.

Pros
  • RMS POWER, 4 OHM, 75W x 2
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Would be a great amp if it worked!

I bought this amp for $50. And when I received it was I'm glad it looked solid, had great features and looked good. However, I plugged it in and nothing! and no I'm not an idiot, I ran the game and made sure all the connections are correct. And just to be sure ", I replaced it with a Kenwood amp from another car and the Kenwood kicked in and sounded great. I tried to make a deal but got less than I paid for. It's not Revane's fault and they will be back soon better spend a few bucks more and…

not compatible with car stereo

I have this and a 1000W 8" Infinity Reference High Performance Subwoofer (single voice coil) and it would not work until I installed the bridge Disable mode. It also seems that the dial doesn't change the bass level. It works from any channel, but without the bridge. I ended up only running one channel and it was pretty weak.

Pros
  • MAX BRIDGED POWER 4 OHM 400W x 1
Cons
  • Upgradeable

No complaints about two channel amplifier

I just installed it yesterday so I understand this is a 'short term' review. But so far I'm very happy with this amp. It's exactly the amount of power I was looking for. I use it to mount 2 flat 10" woofers to mount behind the back seats of my truck. The handle is a great option. It makes it much easier to tune the bass for each song played. I tune it for each song, and since the knob has been placed near my right hand, it's very intuitive. The built-in low-pass filter seems to work very well…

  • Not bad but...
