I was disappointed with how fake they looked. I will try to use them in a decorative candle holder that doesn't show a real candle but lets the light shine.

I use them on my dining table and set them to turn on at 6pm and then off at midnight which is 6 hours on and 18 hours off. . They look good but the bottom cover is very difficult to remove and I'm 6ft 5" and 225 pounds. The handle is small and I even broke one with pliers so now I just use a screwdriver to pry it off. Even if I barely twist them to put them back on, they're still nearly impossible to remove by hand. If they made a different lid holder it would have been a 5 star rating.

We love that the wax candles look realistic, but they aren't as the intense Texas summer heat made the items we tried earlier has melted. We also like the on/off switch, as it can be set indefinitely until the batteries die, or on a timer - six on, eighteen off. However, the bottom of the candle, which must be removed to access this switch and insert the batteries, is very difficult to open - I had to get a pair of pliers, which worked but left a small scar on the ridge on the bottom cap.
