First observation and design looks good.

Although I haven't used the KM500R DID measurement tool, I can test a few important designs. I just received my D.ID. Chain tool KM500R. I also have a MotionPro 3-n-1 chain cutter/riveter. DID has some nice features that I like. It looks like the tool press has a definite stop. When the bit approaches the end of the tool (U-shaped side), it will stop. The U-shaped end appears too narrow. I also noticed that the rivet head is flush with the outer roller. So this design feature stops when itโ€ฆ

Works great, takes a little getting used to.

Watch the instructional video in Japanese-English with subtitles. Great at explaining how it works and what makes it so good. Compared to Harbor Freight's equivalent circuit breaker, it is much better finished. I used an angle grinder to cut off the main link before removing the pins, but that could have easily removed them without having to. That alone was enough to defeat Harbor Freight's counterpart, so it's the best tool right out front. chain is created. I would recommend this tool and you

A few tool kit tips

Tips: When buying a chain, buy some spare links, cheap insurance; Buy a spare screwdriver; Grind the rivet heads! During reassembly the alignment of the tool to the pin is critical, check this constantly or there is a risk of breaking the drive for the pin. Finally, constantly check the compression of the limb under the freshly-stamped head, it's easy to retighten regardless of the depth gauge on the tool. Story:! spent extra money on this tool hoping there would be no problems. I have to sayโ€ฆ

Not impressed. Update: Completely unimpressed

The problem I have is that as soon as you start pushing the pins they make contact on the left side, the riveting tool makes contact the left side has and bottom. While the right side doesn't quite hit the plate, i.e. actually pushing the rivet at an angle, I have pictures. And for my main connecting link (ZJ), online, on a chain case, or with a link, there wasn't even any bell size information. It's very confusing, I mean it's a neat tool, but it's not neat because it doesn't evenly expand the
