worked 3 days at 88-94 MBPS. then stop.

Worked for 3 days at a speed of 88-94 Mbps. then dropped to 25-30 after that. Installing laptop next to desktop works 93. Reinstalled card and software several times. downloaded the latest driver twice. the so-called latest driver is a few years old, but it worked. The driver on the CD was either corrupt or the wrong driver. bought for an old gateway desktop with a 3.2ghz p4 processor, 2 gigabytes of ram and win xp. returned for a refund.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Not everything fits

It works on Windows 10 but at about 1/3 my network speed.

. This card can only download at 250Mbps, which is 1/3 the speed it should be. The previous faulty network card was able to download at 750 Mbit/s. A W10 desktop next to this one on the same switch can upload at 750Mbps. I can leave the card in case of emergency. Backup, but I will order another card today

Pros
  • . High marks for support and durability from testers.
Cons
  • . Pretty good.

Worked on an old Compaq desktop with Windows 7 Pro

Easy to install. I did what others suggested and disabled the motherboard NIC in the BIOS before installing the new drivers that came with the card. I loaded the drivers and the card was immediately recognized and working. Speed tests show that everything that is available from my ISP is needed. The time will show. BTW, Revain sent this in a day!

Pros
  • Not just useful for its intended purpose
Cons
  • So far so good

DO NOT buy this! best network card

this card timed out"/bsd: re0: watchdog timed out"! This card was supposed to have a Marvell controller, but had a (cheap) Realtek. I replaced this card with "Intel PWLA8492MT PRO/1000 MT PCI/PCI-X Dual Port Server Adapter" Intel PWLA8492MT PRO/1000 MT PCI/PCI-X Dual Port Server Adapter. It costs more ($49.99), but works like a champ I have used several D-Link DGE-530T cards and other D-Link cards in the past with no issues.

Pros
  • slim design
Cons
  • capacity

Not what I expected.

I have 1 gigabyte service, never delivered anywhere near. Fortunately got 200 MB. I get 950 MB with my old install. Not sure what happened. It connects well, but those speeds aren't very good. Not recommended for those with high speed internet.

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Fast card for computers and accessories

The network built into my motherboard was not working at gigabit speeds for some reason. I bought this card, installed it and immediately went online with gigabit speed. It's easy to install and the only configuration was to disable my old network card on the motherboard in the bios at boot. It works great and has definitely speeded up my work and network. I've never had network failures or dropouts with this card. Great card. I've been using D-Link networking products for many years and…

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Something else

Does not work with Windows 10 Pro 64-bit.

No driver support for Windows 10 Pro 64-bit. The device manager error says "device won't start", so maybe I just got the DOA. Edit: Revain replaced the item so I went to the D-Link website and downloaded the updated Windows 10 x64 driver and read the release notes. . I've followed the installation procedures and it still won't connect. No device errors this time, but it keeps telling me that the network cable is not connected. I've followed all the troubleshooting steps and it refuses to…

Pros
  • Provides pleasant sensations
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Windows 10 drivers not working

Windows 10 drivers from DLink website not working. If Windows can find updated drivers online, the drivers will not work. The drivers on the Legacy CD work with Windows 10, but how long will it work? However, the CD drivers seem to limit the speed to around 95 Mbps. So that's not good either. It is no faster than the built-in LAN. (Update: I see D-Link asked me to call tech support. Sorry, the $15 item should work out of the box or with the current drivers they release. I don't know.) I don't…

Pros
  • Looking forward to
Cons
  • legacy model
