Fantastic complement to 5GHz WiFi - and it's a router too!

Considering this is my first day using this item I am not disappointed as I only bought it to 5- Adding GHz channels to my existing WiFi away from the crowded 2.4GHz band. It was about as easy as they are in terms of setup and I had it set up and hooked up in about 5 minutes. Pros: - Unbeatable price for a 5GHz add-on - Small and easy to place in a corner - Decent interface and configuration options, including guest networking. Cons: Range isn't impressive, but matches my 2.4GHz Technicolor…

Incredible router for the price.

This is a pretty small workhorse for the $16 I paid for it on Cyber Monday. I've connected nine wireless and two wired devices to this router and it's fast and reliable considering it only connects at 10m/s. However, I'm sure it helps that I live in a 1500 square foot house. Feet where only two people use multiple connected devices at the same time. I have a 500 gigabyte USB hard drive that I plugged into my router and was able to access on my iPad from out of state today. But apparently I…

Have been using the DIR 817LW/D for about a month. We're not asking too much of him in terms of range (the room he's in and the rooms below him), and so far it's been great. Streaming higher resolution videos to phones, iPads and PCs with a 1080 screen was no problem. She loves the fact that this secondary router of ours has no external antennas, so it can sit on a table or dresser without looking completely out of place.
