Description of ๐Ÿถ Versatile 2 Qt Glass Milk Bottle with Lid | 64 oz, Creamery Style & Heavy Glass

Heavy Glass Bottle is great for storing all beverages for use and reuse every day- not thin and "disposable" like many bottles. Reusable Tamper-Evident cap included, the pull tab needs to be removed on first use and cap functions perfectly without it after removal. Vintage design with convenient molded side grip handle. Made in USA by Stan-Pac of very heavy glass which many users find hard to break. Includes a 48 mm lid and a convenient carrying handle (extra lids available; check our products).

Nice thick glass lid

What is this because I couldn't find any half gallon glass containers to put tea with ice in to keep? Better not to use plastic, it doesn't keep the cold out, but goggles always keep out the cold better and allow you to see through them to see how full or empty the container is. This is a good product. It has a good case. Clean if you have the right tool to go in there, otherwise a good gulp of hot water dish soap, but shake the cap on it, remove the cap, rinse, invert and let dry, all clear

Pros
  • Includes 48mm lid and handy carry handle (optional lids available; see our products)
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

The description says the snap-on lid is reusable, but that's not true. Once you remove the original "seal," the cap simply doesn't sit properly on the bottle and does little to protect the contents. We also found that the neck of the bottle is so thick that pouring is always messy. We continued to search for a replacement and found a very good option in the form of the Anchor Hocking Bistro Glass 2 Quart Stein. This bottle has a wider lid for easy cleaning and a snug stopper, and both areโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Vintage design with conveniently shaped side handle
Cons
  • Almost never

I avoid plastic when I can โ€ข for personal and environmental reasons. This is especially true for me with fresh milk and/or acidic drinks. With lots of fresh grapefruit, lemons, and oranges, and access to fresh farm milk, I often need glass containers. It's the perfect size and shape to fit nicely on my fridge shelf and is easy to pour. I love glass because it cleans so well in the dishwasher and I don't have to worry about bacterial residue or BPA. I'm excited to eliminate any potential BPAโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Heavy glass bottle is great for storing all beverages for everyday use and reusable - not flimsy and "disposable" like many bottles
Cons
  • There are nuances
