Description of Dakine Scout Gloves Large Carbon Men's Accessories in Gloves & Mittens

Shell: 58% Polyester, 20% Polyamide, 20% Pvc, 2% Polyurethane Lining: 100% Polyester Insulation: 100% Polyester. Imported. Hand Wash. The surface of the shell fabrics are treated with a Durable Water Repellent DWR finish to act as an initial barrier to moisture. The backside of the fabrics are also treated with another water-resistant and breathable coating. Polyurethane inserts use a unique film technology that maximizes value and comfort. The waterproof inserts block water from the outside, keeping hands warm and dry on the inside. A synthetic insulation with an excellent balance of comfort, warmth and value. It resists moisture in wet conditions providing loft retention and an air space that holds heat and keeps hands warm. The non-bulky nature of this insulation allows breathability when conditions are warmer. Touch screen compatible 280 g 4x4 stretch fleece. The 4-way stretch fleece removable liner allows for versatility in climate adjustment and is extremely quick drying. Warmth Index of 5. Gloves or mitts with a rating of 5 are the warmest styles for the harshest conditions, and for those who need maximum warmth.

Size medium fit him perfectly (he is 5ft 8in and weighs about 160lbs)

Christmas present for my boyfriend and he loves it! He hasn't used them in the mountains yet, but since they come lined, they should be warm enough. The average size fits him perfectly (he's 5ft 8in, weighs about 160lbs, would that help determine the size of the gloves?). If you're reading this and trust my picture of my boyfriend's reaction, you don't care that I'm NOT a glove connoisseur and you don't care that I might be a little drunk because it's Friday night, then what gloves buy my…

I will keep looking for men

Tight fit. Not that warm. The length from fingertip to wrist is too short. Shell cannot match Gore-Tex in terms of breathability. I bought these to replace an excellent pair of gloves that had finally fallen apart after years of heavy use ($10 from a street vendor in Korea). I wear Large in all my winter gloves and the measurements I took indicated that I should order Large in this glove. Suitable when I am NOT wearing earplugs but the earplugs are a bit tight and who needs a thick glove when…

The best gloves for $30!

I don't normally take the time to post reviews of my Revain purchases but I had to let anyone who wants to read this do, these gloves work great for me! I figured I'd just buy myself some gloves so I can last for some time when I'm cycling in cold and wet weather. I didn't want to spend a lot of money. I chose the famous Da Kine brand, this particular pair also came with a very good pair of ear tips. There's even a mop on the thumb of one of the gloves for wiping down goggles or a face shield…

Great buy for SoCal Snowboarding

These gloves are amazing for the price. Very comfortable and quite warm. Granted, there were only 45 badgers at Yosemite Pass, so I don't know if they will survive in colder conditions. But for snowboarding in mild California conditions, they're perfect. Good manual dexterity even with earplugs. The inserts themselves feel comfortable. Wearing them just for walking in the park, shopping for discounts, etc. will keep your hands warm while still remaining functional. The touchscreen thumb and…

Insanely warm and built like a tank

Extremely warm. Wearing it without a liner would be warm enough for most Iowa days. With an inner lining, I would only wear them over longer distances when the temperature is below zero (like skiing or playing football). I still get warm, but they're too much insulation for me for any other purpose. I have long, narrow fingers so the XL size is perfect for the length. There's a bit more room across the width, but I think it should if I ever plan on wearing them with earbuds. Very well…

Good price, warm glove. Not for snowmobiles.

My hand is 7.25 inches and I'm size medium. They fit almost perfectly - the fingers on the liners are very long (about 1.5 inches dangling from my fingertips), but that's the only complaint I have about the size. For outdoor walks, they're pretty hot without a liner. Up to about 20 I can use them for snowmobiling without a liner. I have to use earplugs underneath, which is a bit awkward because the fingers are so long. The balaclavas tend to fold when I try to put on the outer glove making them
