Tried to set the clock but it didn't work. I couldn't open the back to see if I could change the battery, but I was able to open it. Sent it back and got a refund.

I mainly use it to attach to belt loops when gardening. It is very durable and reliable. I lost the first watch I ordered a few months ago so I wanted to replace it immediately. Love it!

Dead on arrival on Christmas morning. There is no light and the stopwatch does not move. Very disappointed because my previous Dakota is still keeping time after three seasons of snowboarding. Will be updated as vendors and/or Dakota become active.

Dakota lives in the US, not China. This watch (Dakota Watch Company Light Backpacker Clip Watch with Dial Light, Moss) was made in China. There is a label on the watch indicating this. I am very disappointed in the advertising and the watch. I believe in making America great again.

Really like this watch although I'm returning it. It seems very durable and has had a good time in the short time I've had it. I like dark blue. The bracelet is black or dark blue. It's too big and too heavy for me. The hour portion is almost half an inch thick. It's too thick and bulky for everyday use as I expected.

I needed a clip-on watch for hiking and working in the woods with my hydrator. This watch is a good size and light weight. However, the minute hand broke in less than a month. This is the second time I own this watch. The first worked for a year before it stopped working. (The new battery didn't revive him.) Dakota threw away the watch but left the clips. I currently use an $8 watch clip from Wal-Mart.

5 stars for the Dakota Light Back Packer Clip on the watch. I bought this for my teenage boy scout, I even accidentally washed it in the washing machine! It shows the perfect time. It's very durable, I don't recommend washing it, but it's so beautiful. This is the perfect gift for a college student who doesn't want to wear a watch and is temporarily not using a cell phone. The light function is handy for the dark. I now shop for gifts.

I work in a restricted area where wrist watch wear is also restricted due to electrical hazards (nuclear power plant). So I was looking for a watch that you could just put on a bracelet and that wouldn't be triggered by metal detectors either. Despite being aluminum, it is small enough to easily pass through the security system. It would have been a 5 star item if it was $10 cheaper or seemed a little higher quality. It shows the time and date and the light works so I can't complain.
