Description of DALI Oberon 3 (White): Elevating Audio Experience with Unparalleled Clarity

The driver materials, crossover design and geometry applied in the OBERON series has been selected to achieve a wide dispersion pattern. The rounded edges and rustic fabric of these new DALI front grilles add a lighter and more contemporary visual look to the OBERON series. The OBERON woofer features a wood fibre cone with a blend of fine grain paper pulp, reinforced with wood fibres, which creates a stiff, light-weight and well-behaving structure. In combination with a low-loss surround and spider suspension, this cone reproduces the micro details in the signal - unfiltered and with high accuracy. The iron pole piece of the OBERON woofer magnet is crowned by a patented SMC disk - minimizing the negative effects of the iron.

Just super, the product is made wonderfully, very satisfied.

Were purchased for scoring 14m² room. A proven Yamaha r-n303 stereo receiver was chosen to pair with them. Visually, the speakers are almost flawless: clear lines, neat fit, in general, everything is according to the nameplate: designed in Denmark, made in China. The sound is great considering the size. Of course, you can’t confuse Dali iKon 6 with the same floorstanders (they have a more airy / voluminous stage thanks to the hybrid tweeter module, consisting of a dome and tape and due to a…

Pros
  • 1. Sound 2. Appearance 3. Price (in my case)
Cons
  • The phase inverter is moved back - at least 5 cm from the wall, and it's kind of like shelf speakers.

I am amazed at how well the product is made, just magically!

Sound acoustics both in sound and in quality of finish. The sound is clear, quite dense and not boomy bass. The middle does not fall through, it is especially pleasant to listen to female vocals, light and velvety. The top of the ears does not cut, but they do not play in the background either. In my opinion, this is a very well balanced speaker. She has everything in moderation, I'm not afraid of the word "live" sound. The panorama is expanded, so there is no need to sit in the center in…

Pros
  • Detailed sound, workmanship
Cons
  • Price! Well it's not Dali's fault

I didn't like it, I don't recommend buying it.

Speakers for older people who, due to the physical characteristics of the body, do not perceive high frequencies and prefer design to sound. Very dull, muddy sound. I strongly recommend listening in the store before buying and make sure of it. Measurements: 1) prof. microphone at different angles 2) 3cm away from the tweeter PS. Most likely I got married. Be careful.

Pros
  • Design
Cons
  • Sound. Some kind of misunderstanding. The first days I thought that the problem was either that the amplifier receives a signal via bluetooth, cuts high, after connecting it with a wire, I thought that they needed time to play out, "warm up". Two weeks later, I took measurements, made sure that my ears were not deceiving me, and returned it to the store.

The right product for me, there were no problems.

I write to the music from these speakers) The first thing I would like to say: do not evaluate their sound for the first few hours! Dali themselves write about this in the manual for the speaker, they claim that the speaker will reach its optimal sound after 100 hours of operation. Noticeable improvements in sound can be heard after 6-8 hours of listening. After 20 hours, you can appreciate the sound of these speakers - it is incomparable, for my ears, the best! I listen to the Yamaha A-S301 +…

Pros
  • Sound, design, brand.
Cons
  • I would like it cheaper) but it's not the fault they gave .

Just super, the product is made wonderfully, very satisfied.

The sound of these speakers pleased, out of the box they sounded very good. Initially, there were distortions in the HF. but after some time they disappeared, that is, they need to warm up for at least 50 hours. The sound is rich in timbre, high and low frequencies are moderate, warm, pleasant sound. Naturally they play music with live instruments, modern music is not much worse, there is not enough density in the lower register, and for shelf speakers it’s quite a good bass. In terms of…

A little disappointed, a bad purchase.

Equipped their workplace with them. Relative to other bookshelves of this size, the bass is quite good. But everything spoils the resonances at certain frequencies and reliability. I didn’t listen very loudly, but one of the bass burned out after 2 months. There is no warranty on them, as their dealer made it clear to me. Luckily it wasn't expensive to rewind. But their crossover is something. Look for such a UG .

Pros
  • They play well. Fairly good “step response” i. E. sharp sounds play well. Bass is good for speakers of this size. Mid-range such hi-fi. Closer to the start.
Cons
  • Wed. T at frequencies of 500.600Hz, several frequencies where the electric guitar likes to play gets into resonance with the HF (!) And listening to this . is hard. Dali engineers need to tear their hands off for such a crossover. If you are a fan of early quin and rock in general, these speakers are not for you. Large spread in frequency response. Especially at high frequencies. A little later, I bought a measuring microphone for another project of mine. The difference at 12-15 kHz reaches 5 dB (!). In general, they have some kind of trouble with HF. It is possible that the crossover is defective, but the picture is the same on both speakers, the difference is only in the level of distortion. The speakers play great.

Full compliance with the manufacturer's assurances, high quality.

I took my first acoustics to the first vinyl. Turntable - audio equipment lp40 I chose between oberons 3 and kef350. In the end, took the Oberon. The sound is quite smooth, creeping, without jerks, voluminous (although not yet warmed up). The bass is sufficient and soft. Doesn't press. For my music norms. I listen to funk, reggae, indie rock, pop rock, hip hop, jazz. I took it in tandem with the smsl sa300 amplifier They worked great. I listened with the base Yamaha 201st. But in the end I…

Pros
  • Good acoustics for almost adequate money
Cons
  • Haven't found yet
