Handle not as pictured

I ordered this hammer thinking it would be a straight handle but instead it looks more like an ax handle. This is a tide, so you get quality, but the product is not the same as the photo.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Expensive

CHINESE FAKE!

Chinese crack, US made handle only. DALLUGE hammers made in the USA have the DALLUGE stamp, not the side that says 'Made in USA', but don't be fooled, it's just the handle.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Some bugs

Big hammer for hammers

Probably the best wooden handled hammer on the market today for the money. Maybe not as good as my old Hart, but even that's debatable. I have both a straight and a curved ax handle and both are great. And they are all made in the USA (not all Vaughan/Dalluge, but this particular model is entirely made in the USA).

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Band

Great hammer for homeowners or contractors.

excellent hammer. I bought one to replace my Dewalt hammer due to elbow and wrist issues. It lies perfectly in the hand and is well balanced. I believe the ad has a nail trigger at the top, but this model doesn't have one. I would recommend buying a rubber grip to keep the grip smooth. Otherwise it's a great hammer. Highly recommended.

Pros
  • good thing
Cons
  • not reliable

Good branch hammer, suitable for mechanical and hand tools

Need a new hammer. Well not really, I just love hammers. I have several jackhammers and chose this one based on the reviews. I really like this hammer, the quality compared to the price is really good. The handle feels nice and is very ergonomic compared to some of my straight broomstick trim hammers. The fit and finish are impeccable and the head is perfect for my style of use.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Big Little Hammer

Great for disguises and trimming when a nail gun won't work. It has a strong bevel and short neck, so not the best way to nail the edge close to the edge, but it's worth it for the balance and won't leave hammer marks on cedar paneling and paneling. One of four hammers I carry to work, one of which is also a Dalluge. Nail guns are everything these days, but I couldn't do without a hammer, and because of Larry Hawn, the hammer is my favorite tool.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Upgrades

Nice little hammer.

Comfortable at first. The craftsmanship is fine. The hammer is very good in terms of weight and balance. The handle is well shaped, comfortable and fits the head properly with no visible gaps. The cut of the hammer head is even, well polished, the striking surface is slightly convex. Now about hiccups. The claws of this hammer are not sharp and the grain orientation of the wooden handle is far from optimal. Make no mistake, this is a fine hammer. Reminds me of my old Hart jackhammer.

Pros
  • Hand tool
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Hammer for processing a wooden handle

Good hammer, polished head, good wedges, straight handle not curved. It has some small scratches which I think are from storage or handling. I was looking for a Hart T-16 that I had many years ago. I stopped there. I'd rather choose one from the closet like I did before. , because the price is the same for all and I felt it, I checked the grain on the handle and chose the best one. However, with what's available these days, this isn't a bad branch hammer.

Pros
  • Power tools and hand tools
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.

I've been looking for a Hart T-16 and this is the closest I could find - not bad, similar balance and handling but still not a Hart. Overall good value at $25 and I like them better than the Vaughan 99. Don't judge on the steel of the head and ability to grab a nail at odd angles. The fairing is good and could probably be easily repaired. Handle angled 90 degrees. fake and overgrown hickory (<10 rings/inch) but will do for my electrician's son. It won't stay indoors if you're not careful.

Pros
  • Claw Hammers
Cons
  • Not sure
