Great fit, wish it had velcro

Large size and flexible material is great for my daughter. However, she struggles with a bow because she still doesn't know how to tie her shoelaces, and it often comes undone in class, despite my attempts to tie a good knot. I would recommend them for the fit and quality, but we've replaced the bow with a strong elastic! (just cut the thick rubber band in half)

Pros
  • Great overall features
Cons
  • Very expensive

For narrow feet: dancing

I bought 7 babies for my little dancer. However, I would only recommend the normal sizes for narrow feet as my 2.5 year old daughter found them a little too narrow in width. I had to go far. So if your little one's feet are noticeably narrow, go for the regular size. But if they are from normal to wide, choose wide. Otherwise the shoe length was correct (size 7).

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Mostly good, but...

Great for kids with wide feet

I bought these for my granddaughter and they fit perfectly (size 12W). Some suppliers do not have large sizes for children. We also needed her quickly as her year-end concert was approaching and the shoes she had been wearing all year were suddenly too small. They were delivered a few days ahead of schedule. Very happy, both with the supplier and with the shoes.

Pros
  • Good value for money
Cons
  • Trade in

Buy a FULL size larger.

Fits but I really took a risk because I couldn't find sizing information on either the Amazon site or the manufacturer's site. I'm a size 8.5C and it's barely big enough. I was going to buy 1/2 size bigger so she can grow with him next year. I will update later but I have a feeling we will be buying again in 6 months. My daughter is a size 8, I bought an 8.5. My tip: C width is a bit small. Maybe I'll buy more width next time. And I would buy a FULL size larger than what you usually buy.

Pros
  • hands free

I love them!: Dancing

These little shoes are just great! I bought these for my granddaughter and she wears them easily and puts them on easily. I had previously bought another pair and they were very stiff and difficult to get my foot in so I was looking for a flexible pair. My only complaint about them is that they only have a tie to keep them closed at the top, unlike other shoes that had buttons and a tie. We need to double their time to make sure they don't get unbound, which they do once bound. I was also a bit

Pros
  • Wow
Cons
  • I don't like anything about it, everything is just perfect

Save your money

Choose something more expensive (Capezio or Bloch). These were poorly made. One of the nails holding the faucet in place was badly driven in and had a sharp bit of metal sticking out. My daughter could injure herself wearing it and would definitely ruin the floor with big scratches. I also compared it to the Capezio shoes I bought and the quilting was much thinner and made a dull sound. Needless to say I returned these shoes and spent another $5 to buy Capezio shoes.

Pros
  • A classic design for beginners.
Cons
  • High price

2.5 year old baby in heaven

I have no idea about dancing and my child does not tap dance, so I don't know how much weight to put on it, but the shoes are great (tie a bow). She wears them everywhere, and they've stood up to a lot of bullying pretty well. A better mom than me would have realized they were very slippery (due to the nature of the taps) and would have warned; My daughter has made several stains but refuses to remove them. She sleeps in it! Best nine dollars I've ever spent on warehouse deals. However, now itโ€ฆ

Pros
