It could work! in faucet stems

We had to trim both ends to make it work! Removing or replacing crane seats takes too long! We needed another tool to get started, but it still got some of the work done!

Pros
  • Chrome finish
Cons
  • Clarity

Can be modified depending on the application

Machining and coating are inaccurate and rough. This is an inexpensive tool but probably suitable for non-professional use. The smallest square dimension was about 0.5mm larger than the size of Danco's own bib on their 9B-3C stem (Sayco style). I ended up scraping off the Dremel grindstone a bit. At first I tried just sticking a flat head screwdriver in, but ended up needing this tool to pry out the 50 year old stems. Gave it 3 stars as despite the issues it still saved my bacon.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Good but not great
