Plastic vs Metal

Good product but I was expecting a metal version rather than a plastic version. That's why I give 3 stars. Plastic degrades over time and is more easily damaged than metal.

Pros
  • Best in niche
Cons
  • Very expensive

Probably fine if you're not an idiot

Sorry I'm an idiot. I measured wrong so it was 1/2 inch too small for my drain cap but I'm sure it would have worked if it was the right size.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Looks way better!

I had to replace some old Delta pipes that were starting to leak. Attempting to replace the cartridge broke the entire unit in the wall. After $750 I got a new shower faucet. I thought I might as well redo the sewers. It looks way better!

Pros
  • Great for me

Just buy it when you need a replacement

Excellent. You really can't expect more. It's plastic, but there's nothing wrong with that. I hand tightened it with a screwdriver and had no problem with it "splintering" or breaking and I tried to tighten it fairly firmly.

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • Upgradeable

Nice spare part.

Although the lid is chrome plated plastic, it's stronger and cleaner than the old metal that corrodes on the back and bottom. It looks good and is easy to install. There's even a bracket for adjusting and swapping 2-hole caps.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Some minor issues

THIS IS PLASTIC not metal

I was considering ordering a chrome metal spill cover. It's thick chromed plastic. For plastic, it's relatively durable. However, it should be clearer from the description that it is plastic. Not worth the time and hassle for return.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Negative is present

Looks good. Screw may be short so note

This may just be my case but the screw you get in the package may not necessarily fit all tubs. I mean short. I had to replace it with an existing screw because that screw didn't even reach the threads behind the tub to fasten it. Also, it looks good if you try to get the same color as the rest of the bathroom fixtures.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not sure

It's plastic not metal

Looks good but I was very disappointed that it's plastic and I was expecting metal. In the description of this item, it says "metal structure" first. Next on the list is plastic. So it's very misleading. When I discovered the "metal construction" I looked no further before ordering it. This goes in the trash. I should have read other people's reviews who were disappointed and misled by this plastic junk. I ended up ordering a real "metal" pickguard from another seller.

Pros
  • Dope πŸ”₯
Cons
  • Expensive
