Could be better

Really wanted a large flat rim but not sized for a laundry tub with 2.75" x 1.5" center grid. catches much better than the other style's 2mm holes and I have no problem removing lint frequently. (First sprinkle small sand-like rocks and pine needles on a paper towel, then turn the damp, rolled paper towel halfway down to pick up what's left after you've pulled out the clumps of lint.) The mesh is too tight - water actually collects in the shower

I had one of these in the old location for many years. Thought it would be the same, it wasn't. Note the size in inches which is a lot smaller than I expected. Not so hot what's up. I then used it in the shower, a minute or two after using the soap the water started to pool. Thought it must be my drain. By the end of the shower, my feet had a nice, even inch of water. Raised, not a lot of hair, but very "soapy" and the water immediately began to run off quickly. The net is too tightly woven…
