Sparkling Watercolors Add Shine to Art

As someone who loves arts and crafts, I was thrilled to test out these pearlescent watercolors. As a result of my tests, I determined that these colors truly shine and add gorgeous dimension to any painting. The way they catch the light is truly mesmerizing. However, they can be difficult to control and may require multiple layers to achieve the desired effect. Overall, I highly recommend these watercolors for any artist looking to add some sparkle to their work.

Pros
  • Provides a shimmering, pearlescent effect to artwork
Cons
  • Requires careful layering and timing to achieve desired effect

Stunningly Beautiful

This watercolor is amazing! Adds a nice shimmer. I also use it for blue glazing for running water. I love it and I find more uses for it every day. This color is a must have in my palette.

Pros
  • Made in the USA
Cons
  • Not as thick as others

Shimmering Opaque White

nice shimmering opaque smooth watercolor. Easily wetted in pots with little activation. I bought this to use on Legion Stonehenge Aqua Elite black watercolor paper. I think Arteza also has black watercolor paints. Stonehenge is made of cotton, so it's best to work with it in watercolor. As always, when it comes to Daniel Smith, her watercolors are of excellent quality.

Pros
  • Transparent
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something
