Love these! They are beautiful. They're just a little small, but I think they should be danceable. I ordered small (4-6) for my 4 year old and medium (8-10) for my 10 year old (she is petite). Very good quality and stretchy. I would happily buy again in other colors!

I received two different shorts. A pair of Danskin and an unnamed brand (some brands from China). Both fit very well, the unnamed brand fits more like shorts than briefs, and the metallic red comes off. I didn't realize they were different until the last time my daughters cheered for the competition, otherwise I would have returned them immediately. Buyers are careful and make sure you get what you pay for

Great. Buy one size up if your daughter has a butt. My 6 year old daughter is a size M but it only fits because of her figure - L is much more comfortable for her. Wearing a size 8, she is 48 inches tall by comparison and weighs 51 pounds. And they are absolutely machine washable (delicate cycle)! I dried them on low heat and they fit great but when I washed them I found tiny sparkles. It's okay, but now I'm hanging dry.

I ordered a small one, they sent me a medium one, I was quite upset. I chose not to reorder as I wasn't too impressed with the media quality. The quality is in no way inferior to the cheaper ones. Thin with a simple belt. If I could get them cheaper I would order them again, but nothing about them screams "worth more money". Year old. It fits about 2 of my 5 year olds. *Update - They refunded me a gift card instead of a refund. even though they sent the wrong size. Beware.

These shorts fit my very tall almost 4 year old, a bit loose because I increased the size. I love this brand because their active shorts are not flared on my little girl's legs like other brands do because she is tall and slim. I recommend these shorts in all colors if you want to wear sportswear. BUT. . . I bought several colors, one of which is a shiny "black" pair. Remember buyers: This is NOT glossy or black. It's black and silver, as are the other two color options with silver detailing…
