These little guys seem to be very tough. On the thin side, but very strong. Different sizes work well for bags of french fries, frozen bags and plastic bags sealed in boxes (cereal). Some of their bottom edges are a bit sharp. Some can cut their fingers. Overall much better than plastic clips which don't clamp as tight and don't last as long.

I really like these stainless steel chip clamps. They have a nice strong spring that allows them to seal even the strongest bags I've come across and the handle doesn't break like many plastic clips I've used. My only "nap" would be that I would have preferred more large packages. Size clips and smaller clips smaller. I have far fewer pockets that require smaller clips.

I am very happy with these metal clips! They are very durable but not too heavy and bulky. I can easily open them with one hand. They also look very pretty, which is important to me as they will be visible in my open pantry. The two sizes are perfect for a variety of bag sizes, from a variety of dry goods and snacks to family sized bags of chips. And buying ten of them for about $1.40 each is a steal for this quality.

These clips have good springs so they definitely keep the bag closed securely. The handle is also shaped for a comfortable grip. What I don't like are the sharp edges! If the clip digs into your pocket from the side, it breaks easily when you press on it. The outside edges of that part of the handle (where your fingers go) are also sharp, so if you touch the edges of it (which of course can happen when you're reaching into the drawer to reach it), you could cut yourself. The clips came quickly and far exceeded my expectations! They are very smooth and well made. Trust me, not all clips are created equal. I've bought other clips that fall apart the first time I use them. Haven't had them for a long time BUT I tested them and they performed better than any other clips I've bought. I'm glad I chose this set as it has both 3" and 4" clamps. While the 3-inch clips can easily handle any bag, it's nice to have variety. The price is unbeatable!

They do exactly what you want them to do. They hold the bag tight and keep it closed. With the clip, the contents of the bag stay fresh for longer. The clamps were pretty strong - there are no weak parts.
