This hardly fits my son who wears 2T pants. The length of the strap wasn't an issue; Rather, the buckle was too large for its loops and it took considerable effort to fit the metal element into the loops. After using the belt twice, the elastic completely detached from one of the fasteners. It went in the trash.

My son has poor fine motor skills and even though he is 9 years old, he could not open or fasten a regular belt by himself, sometimes this was a big problem and caused awkward situations for him. The only issue I have is that it doesn't fit in a larger size (he wears size 10-12 pants) so it compresses his waist a bit.

I bought these belts (I also bought a camel belt) for my 4 year old son. The buckles are made of stamped metal with a magnet block glued or soldered into the male part. I can't say which method. While the idea is great, the execution leaves a lot to be desired in my opinion. I would like the buckles to be lacquered or enamelled. Something to give the whole thing a more refined look and feel.
