Description of 💪 Darco Body Armor Night Splint: Enhanced Support and Protection for Restful Recovery

Foot Care. Night Splint Body Armor Darco One Size Fits All. Made in: United States. Loading the windlass mechanism naturally brings the foot/ankle to a near 90 degree angle thus eliminating the “lever effect” and the resulting pressure on the apex of the ankle present in other dorsal models. Elastic connector ring allows for natural flexion of the foot and toes. Low profile design allows for maximum user comfort and compliance.

Got the first one from my orthopedist

I have tried several different ones but this is by far the best, most durable and very comfortable. Another thing I really like is that she keeps her fingers straight. I had astem therapy (wonderful medicine for me) and found that the lined toe was a huge plus for me. My only complaint is that you can't just replace the soft inner lining, you'll have to get a brand new one. .

Pros
  • . Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not sure

Skip this boot, fits braces, splints and braces

Other sizes may not fit all. Velcro doesn't stay overnight on men's size 13. Please be careful when purchasing as this item is non-returnable as it is a "health item". Bought a rear night splint for Plantar Fasciitis - Large (colors may vary) Mars and have had better results with the size and was able to wear it overnight with very little discomfort.

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Very expensive

MIRACLE PLANTER Fasciitis CURE!

WONDERFUL! The best healing device ever! My wife has tried many things/exercises but none of them "healed" quite like this boot! She wears it at night or on the couch. Sometimes he gets sick in the middle of the night (when she falls asleep with him) and she takes it off with no problem. ALREADY (according to her conversation) several of her friends who "suffer" from PF have also said so. Miraculous Healing/Benefits! With the positioning portion of the toe, this allows the tendon to…

Good product but it has a flaw

My doctor recommended this night splint for my plantar fasciitis so I bought two, one for each foot. Strap (very important), legs don't hurt like they used to in the morning. The toe strap provides good stretch and prevents overstretching of the plantar fascia during the night. Now for the bad: The toe strap uses some sort of wobbly plastic thing to attach to the boot. But it doesn't hold up well, and often when I wake up in the morning it snaps off. It's just not the best design. I'm sure I'm…

Finally Healed!: Braces, Splints and Supports

I've spent almost a year trying all the recommended remedies to treat my plantar fasciitis. This shoe finally did it when nothing else could. The key is to curl your fingers. This small strap pulls the thumb up and stretches the tendon to allow it to heal in a stretched position overnight. I noticed immediate relief from morning stiffness and pain, and after a few weeks all pain was gone. I go so far as to occasionally still sleep in these boots simply because I'm afraid of the pain possibly…

Foot Pain Relief

I have had pain in my left leg every day for at least 2 years, sometimes so bad I could barely walk. (Diagnosis: plate fasciitis). Stretching exercises and massages did not help or only temporarily. A friend lent me her Darco night splint and after 2 weeks of wearing it every night, the pain in my legs had subsided so much that I no longer noticed it. So I bought one. I wore it every night for the first 3 months or so and now I can only wear it 2-3 nights a week and get rid of the pain in my…

Use this before taking cortisone or buying anything else!

After doing weekly injections at the base of my plantar ligament for five weeks and starting to wear orthotics again (which actually made my problem worse), I was desperate for relief. The pain was much worse than the left leg problem I had a year ago and the only remedy my podiatrist could offer after the vaccinations was a referral to an orthopedist! I've worn my "DorsiWedge" diligently while watching TV/surfing the internet and often (trying) to sleep in it, but it kept waking me up from…

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Can't remember but something was

I have tried 3 different night splints/brace for my plantar fasciitis. The Bird and Cronin style splint probably gave me the best flex, stability, and dorsiflexion. However, the way the straps rested on top of my legs caused some temporary (hopefully) nerve damage (a tingling sensation on the top of my leg). So, not wanting permanent nerve damage, I tried the Strasbourg sock. While this was the most comfortable of all because there were no hard pieces or straps going down my foot, the only…

Velcro defect on braces, splints and braces

I read many reviews before purchasing this splint. This is the first tire I tried. I sent the first one back thinking it was a manufacturer fault. The straps that go through the slats and are attached with velcro sewed the edges of the velcro so tightly that it poked through the fabric and scraped my opposite leg through the night so I ended up having to take the splint off around 5am . I sent it back for a replacement. When replacing exactly the same problems. I'll try again with a spare and…
