Good soldering iron for small projects

This soldering iron was used for a guitar pickup replacement project. For that it worked well. I would have paid double for a similar one on a guitar parts site but took a chance buying this one because of the free shipping. I'm glad I did. It got the job done with ease. It now has a permanent place in my tool box. The holder looks cheap but worked well.

Pros
  • Soldering iron
Cons
  • Not sure

Darice 30 Watt Soldering Iron

The Darice 30 Watt Soldering Iron is very well made given its competitive price and is great for small electronics and home projects. It has an amazingly strong power cord with a grounded plug on the end! Maybe that's why it warms up so quickly. Comes with a soft metal stand that can be bent into the best position. For this price you can't go wrong!

Pros
  • Soldering Iron & Soldering Iron
Cons
  • Available in Black Only

I used it for a hobby project involving mostly soldering braided wires together and soldering those wires to other parts like a relay. The price of this product is very low but you get what you pay for and for this product you are paying for a low powered soldering iron that works but takes at least 5-10 minutes to fully heat up. Also, this product never reaches very high heat levels. While this product is cheap, if I had to buy a different soldering iron I would probably spend more money and…

Pros
  • Welding and soldering
Cons
  • A little torn
