Some postcard paper is quite thin or has an odd texture, but this paper is as thick as the back of a quality greeting card and is smooth. I use it to make various decorations in my class and I love it! It was packaged well, none of the corners were bent and it was even double sealed to ensure it didn't get wet on the way to me. This is thicker card stock than regular printer paper and is exactly what I needed. I use the remaining pages (50 in total) for the wedding games. I tested it with Papermate pen, marker and ink.
