A bit small...

A bit small - but that's what the description says (23.3"x23.3")! I bought it for the price! I've used it to load two 35mm reels simultaneously into my two-reel Patterson tank, as well as 120mm reels individually. I had enough space in both formats to insert the film without much effort. I feel like I could use a larger 4-wheel tank in this bag if I had to. If you're trying to get into home development on the cheap - GET THIS BAG!

Pros
  • Excellent workmanship
Cons
  • Reliability

Works perfectly! - Film processors

I have used it several times with good results. The bag is roomy enough to work with both roll and wide format transparencies, and best of all, it's opaque. I find it useful to use a three-sided box when loading film (I just put my gear in the box and then seal everything in the bag) to give the bag some structure and not get in the way when shooting. To work. The armholes are not too tight for me, although this can vary from person to person. A great option for a home photo lab.

Pros
  • Special offer
Cons
  • Infinitely sluggish

Suitable for photographers who work without a darkroom

Before buying this bag, I used an indoor space in my house where there was no light pollution (my laundry room!) where I had enough space to fit my 35- mm lens to load . rolls 2 at a time into a small developing tank. At my new location, I don't have such a light-tight space, so I looked for a diaper bag; I was concerned from the reviews I've read about other bags that the material makes my hands sweat and makes it difficult to load film. This bag doesn't, it's breathable, heavy weight, well…

Pros
  • Several competitors
Cons
  • unreliable

I have enough room to load two rolls of 35mm film into the Paterson tank. I haven't had any light leak issues and the build seems pretty solid. The only advice I can give to anyone looking to buy one of these bags is bring a bracelet or watch, which might be a little distracting. Even this small amount of light can cause strange light leaks on your film.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks

Ideal for developing film without a darkroom

If you love making film but hate the fees film development labs charge, this is a great solution. The fabric and workmanship are strong and seem to last a long time. No problems with light leakage yet! It takes some practice to get the hang of it. With black and white film, you can develop under red light and see what you're doing. With a photo lab bag, you need to be guided by sensory and muscle memory. You can't see what you're doing, so practice with cheap rolls of film first! Also, make…

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance

  • Doubtful
