A valuable purchase, some advantages!

It's as if Niepce himself captures you on a heliogravure. If you are used to auto-stabilization of digital cameras and phones, then it is better to place the device on a hard surface.

Works great but expensive

Love it! Works great on my old Polaroid, wish there was more in the pack but well worth paying for as it is a nostalgic item.

son is very happy! suitable for camera and photo

I have a 12 year old son who is an "old soul". He likes to own something outdated or old as part of his early collections. We found this Polaroid camera at a thrift store, so at $6 it's worth it. Luckily for us, after cleaning the camera, I put the film cartridge right out of the box. The camera looped and captured his first "old" Polaroid of his mother. The Polaroid brand is a few dollars cheaper than the Impossble brand.

Please do not worry.

I know some people have had good results with this film but honestly it's not worth the risk. I only took two exposures and none of them were fully developed and there were also streaks. I want my money back but don't want to mess with customer service and send it back. Just don't risk it, it's not worth $17+ for a few pics that actually come out. spend money on instax **UPDATE**: I took 4 photos now, the other two came out completely black and didn't even begin to develop. **UPDATE 7/5**…

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Some flaws

Last picture not taken, left in cartridge but no picture taken. I suspect battery damage, but who knows? The price is too high as the package only comes with 8 shots compared to the original Polaroid which had ten plus when the eighth shot failed. I wish Polaroid would just go back to its original formula and shot count as it was before they licensed The Impossible Project and changed the branding. Image quality doesn't even come close to matching the old formula. The "impossible project" was a

1000 times better than impossible

I have been enjoying beautiful polaroid pictures from film cameras for 4 years. Fuji has decided to stop selling its film packaging. I switched to a different instant film and have multiple instant cameras. I've used impossible film before and it was so-so. Never get the results you want. They really have outdone themselves with the new original Polaroid film! I can't explain the difference, I can only show it. Trust me when I say this movie is worth every dollar. I would like them to develop…

CHECK THE DATE OF THE MOVIE!

Warned by other reviewers I checked the film box on arrival and indeed it was almost a year old. So I informed Revain and asked for a replacement which was delivered within 24 hours. BINGO, the tape is only 3 months old. It was worth it because the frustrating cost of unusable film was potentially unbearable. Now I hope good pictures come out of the "new" box (which by the way serves as a PERFECT film screen for the Sun600 camera I bought. Just take the film out of the box, load it (AFTER…

Great film, you just have to be aware of its characteristics.

I am very impressed with this latest version of Polaroid film. I've been using Impossible Project film for about 4 years and found that they were trying to replicate a lost recipe for the original Polaroid film and keep updating it to find the one that most closely resembles the original. This latest version picks up where Impossible left off, so it won't be the Polaroid film you last used in the early 2000s - that recipe is lost. You still need to protect the film from light and wait 10-15…

Great film but learning curve

This is my second instant camera that I bought on ebay, my first was a Polaroid Land Camera with Peel Apart film. I have a newer 600 camera replacing my floor cam since Fuji stopped making film in 2016. I've never tried impossible film, and I was a kid when I was doing Polaroid 600 film, but still. This film needs a lot of light to get a great picture, but once the picture is ejected it needs to be protected from light for a few minutes. Film development can take up to 20 minutes. Flash is…

Great movie that just keeps getting better

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this movie, it's not as good as the original which is understandable but I think it just keeps getting better. I love all instant movies, anything that supports the instant movie community, which I get along well with. I think the most important thing is direct sun, too much shade or overcast and the pictures can be disappointing. It's important to make sure you have a quality camera, there are many on the market and not all will work the way you want them to and secondly, take
