If you love making film but hate the fees film development labs charge, this is a great solution. The fabric and workmanship are strong and seem to last a long time. No problems with light leakage yet! It takes some practice to get the hang of it. With black and white film, you can develop under red light and see what you're doing. With a photo lab bag, you need to be guided by sensory and muscle memory. You can't see what you're doing, so practice with cheap rolls of film first! Also, make sure you have EVERYTHING in your bag before opening the film canister. There's nothing worse than opening a roll of film in a bag only to find you left a cap on the developer tank or a pair of scissors to snip off the end of the film. Once the film container is open, you CANNOT re-open the pouch or remove your hands until you have fully loaded the film into the developer tank. You ruin the film and lose frames. So be extra careful when using the bag!
