My cat looked much more comfortable and cute with it, but she managed to avoid it pretty quickly, although she's pretty smart and also avoided 3 other types of cones. . My older and larger cat wasn't so picky when it was his turn to experiment and endured stoically until I removed him the next day.

After my cat had PU surgery, she had to wear a cone. The first 2 weeks I asked him to wear the original transparent plastic but I decided to try that one too. This allowed him to take care of other areas, but he could not reach the buttocks. It made him happier than the plastic. I'm glad I got this for him - even if he looks a bit ridiculous!

Best invention. Seriously, it's soft and offers an alternative to those uncomfortable and clunky cones that are big, bulky and cause more stress during recovery. It will take some time for your furry friend to get used to it, but it's much more customizable and user-friendly. Designed to fit a medium sized cat's head/neck and is snug but not too tight. It turns out that it can be washed in the washing machine. Amazing intuitive design!

Good alternative to hard plastic collars. Facilitates the use of the tray with the lid closed and makes it easier to move. Obviously it's not as durable as traditional collars and my cat likes to chew on it and sometimes gets her claws caught in the material for a moment. Not a big deal for a cat but after a few months of use these types of collars break so wish they were made out of a stronger nylon for durability but still very happy with it and bought a few to keep a clean one have ready.

This was a great alternative to the plastic cone we had for our kitty. He hated the cone, and that avocado made walking easier for him. The avocado was soft and cuddly and he loved having a portable pillow everywhere. He could even climb his scratching post (we never saw him climb it).
