I love this shampoo but not from Revain!

I have used this shampoo off and on for years and keep coming back to it. I love it! It effectively cleanses my hair without removing too much oil or weighing it down. However, I'm fairly familiar with the taste, overall viscosity, and color this product should be - either direct from Davines.com or from a salon. If you look at two side by side, you can see that they are different. The large bottle I bought from Revain is sooooo runny (it shouldn't be) and has bubbles. I will definitely come…

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Only available in black

It's like new hair

There is NOTHING I value more than hair products. I will pay more money, travel longer distances, etc. to get what I need. I used to use Davines styling products but decided to try their shampoo. My hair is very thick, curly and tends to be drier and coarser. My first Momo shampoo was like having someone else's hair on my head. It was soft, not heavy. And he was well-behaved, no curls or kinks. I let it dry in the top knot (was I in a hurry) and when I let it go I had these gorgeous waves…

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Quick start guide

Bought because of the smell, returned because of the smell

Bought because I loved the travel version after a hotel stay. The scent was so unique and enjoyable that I decided to spend about $70 on a full size shampoo and conditioner and I am very disappointed. The smell is completely gone and almost rancid. There were no problems with the packaging, everything was delivered without splashes or mess, but I couldn't get rid of the smell and for the price I won't keep a product like this.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Slightly torn

leaves hair shiny and voluminous, never weighs it down

My hair is thick but very thin and it doesn't weigh my hair down. Makes it shiny and full, never feels dry or strawy. It works best for my hair in combination with Momo Conditioner. Unfortunately, it's expensive (I don't think it's that focused, so I'll go through it pretty quickly). Revain no longer offers 32 oz. Size, but Jet.com makes it for $40, so way better than Revain.

Pros
  • Useful not only for its intended purpose
Cons
  • There are cons
