Could be better, good for the price

Sure I wasn't expecting cinema quality from a $30 car but this thing could be a lot better. The easy-to-use brakes found on most tripods are great for fixed studio shots, as they're pretty much useless when moving. Cons: Due to the tiny wheels, this thing will almost certainly jitter on all surfaces. Vibrations in the frame are noticeable even on a smooth studio floor or hardwood. It's totally useless on sidewalks or rough surfaces and you have to lift it. no center stand. Can be easily tipped…

Well! But. on tripod and monopod accessories

This is amazing as the tripod is stable and easy to move. Here are my pros and cons for this product: Pros: Sturdy steel Easy to lock the tripod legs when folded and easy to store Move the tripod in the wind Ideal for panning across super smooth surfaces Cons: Don't try to shift frames on anything rougher than smooth I would have liked to have given the wheels a little more glass so that not every bump is transferred to the camera; maybe something like urethane. Prices change across the map…

Perfect for my studio

I wish I had known about this nifty little accessory years ago. This is the perfect addition to my photo studio. I use it for my tripod. Now I can move quickly and take different positions while having to keep the camera steady for each shot. I also love freeform photography, but for shots that require my tripod, this dolly is a HUGE help! I know I no longer have to raise my tripod every time I want to move forward, backward, or sideways. Now I can slide into the desired position very quickly…

Best $40 I've ever spent on video gear.

I like this car very much. It's quick and easy to set up and holds securely on a tripod. The smoothness with which it rolls and spreads in the chamber is excellent for the type of wheels used. I've used this float successfully at weddings on the dance floor and in carpeted churches and as long as you can move the tripod and float easily the video looks nice and smooth. Make sure your tripod is stable and has a tight head to avoid camera shake. Floors with grooves or many indentations naturally…

Inexpensive original solution for the trolley!

So you say you want to do next shots not zoom shots or Hitchcock zoom but you just don't have the money for a professional cart? It is your decision! It's cheap, fits almost any tripod (except for those with a very large footprint unless you open the legs fully), rolls easily on hard surfaces and carpets, and even has wheel brakes for safe shooting. I think this is such a cool little rig and the recording options it can give your video for such a low price really make it worth it. I personally…

Eh, get what you pay for.

Strongly built but sensitive. Don't get me wrong, it gets the job done and as long as you don't try to move too fast with it you should be fine. As most other reviews say, only good for smooth, flat surfaces. I've used it in my kitchen with a slightly raised linoleum floor in a simple square pattern and yes, you may notice video playback jumping or appearing jagged. Come to think of it, it was a lot less noticeable when I retested the same floor and moved a little slower with it. I think the…

Good dolly but I recommend a DYI update.

I've been looking for a simple and practical trolley for a long time. Tiffen, Opteka, and Ravelli make affordable carts, but they didn't have an option that every cart operator needed, which was pneumatic wheels. I was impressed with a product called "Orbit Dolly" but the price is ridiculously high (starting at $1700). The Orbit Dolly is the only dolly I've found with an air wheel option, and it's a $300 add-on. That's too expensive for such a cheap part to manufacture. So I decided to buy an…
