The hinges on this refill were not large enough in diameter to snap into the mount. Instead they just stay in place and stay in place thanks to the tension of the spring. This makes it a bit unstable and you have to be careful when using it. Let's see how it holds up when my wife borrows the truck. (She's the elephant in the china shop)

Years later, with this little gem in my peripheral vision, this advert appeared on my feed and arrived at my home two days later. Fits exactly like an OEM Dodge part and the color is spot on. I was very glad that this thing no longer dangles like an old dog's double chin. It's worth the small price a supplier charges for a superior product of excellent quality.

This part appears to have a stronger clip to hold it closed than the original part. (This is what breaks on the bearing part) I don't think this one will break, at least in the same place. It fits pretty well and fits pretty well. It's a little tricky getting the old one out without damaging the plastic clips on the overhead console that hold it in place. (Part similar to the "hinge").
