I use this lamp for handicrafts. I love to crochet, but dark colored yarn can make it difficult to see the stitching. This light is perfect for illuminating my work without disturbing my family's television.

I have little space to sew, but I need light in the middle. This light has a small footprint and is pleasantly bright. It's a useful, subtle light in the middle of the action, and that's exactly what I need.

Love this small but powerful light. The LEDs are bright enough for my workplace where I work on the computer all day. 4 brightness levels make it easier to find the right brightness. I highly recommend this lamp.

This lantern was bought to use next to my sewing machine but it's so light and handy I can take it with me wherever I need it . It was easy to set up and use. I'm thinking about buying another one; It offers good light for any type of close-up work.

As another reviewer said, the 2 brightest settings of the 4 are not very different. Otherwise, I find this lamp very handy on my sewing table, where I place it in all sorts of ways depending on the time of day and what I'm sewing. It is extremely versatile and offers excellent lighting. Hope it lasts a long time.

I bought this to use for embroidery and it's great. It sits on a side table and with a flexible wand I can illuminate my work where needed and I can still see over it to watch TV. I also like multiple brightness settings. Most of the time I use it in its dullest setting, but with a dark yarn (navy blue or black) I step it up a notch. Does exactly what I was hoping for.

This is the perfect lantern for evening embroidery while watching TV. I put it next to me on the side table and it doesn't bother other viewers in the room. If I don't want to take it out, the flexible stand makes it easy to fold it up and store it in the table for storage. The light has 4 light settings and the brightest is really great! Love that adjusting the light is the end of the world - it's very easy to change the brightness level. I highly recommend this light for hand sewing.

This is a really good lamp! I like that it has different levels of brightness. It's very bright and sits high enough above my desk that I don't bang my head on it or anything while it's angled (I'm clumsy and tend to do things like that lol), the only thing I don't like is that the brightest setting is the last one, so you have to press a lot to reach it.
