Daystar Polyurethane Transmission Applications KG01008BK Review

Based on my experience with this polyurethane transmission mount it has significantly reduced drivetrain movement and improved my automotive handling. The mount is tough and durable, yet still provides enough cushion to reduce NVH .Installation was easy with basic hand tools and the black finish looks great under the hood. The only drawback is that it may transmit some additional noise into the cabin, but for a performance car, that's a small tradeoff for the benefits gained..

Used to replace a stock YJ transmission rubber mount with this one as it is prone to failure. It's stronger, but more vibration at idle. A small price to pay for strength and durability. The only issue I had was that all the holes are slotted which means the transfer case can be a little tricky to put back in place if you don't place it perfectly centered compared to a stock one which has true round holes. It just took a little longer to put the skid plate back on and do a bit of crowbar work…
