Good for daytime running light modules

Everyone complains about how weak, flimsy wires etc you get what you pay for people! I took them out of the frame and used double sided heat tape to tape them to a 3/4" x 48" flat aluminum rod as The Home Depot heatsink which I cut to size. I soldered everything in parallel via the built-in pads. They work perfectly for my needs, do not overheat and do not fade. All together cost me about $15.00. They are not waterproof or IP safe. I would suggest using some high temp silicone on the solder…

Extremely bright, excellent customer service

** 2 months update. When I got home from work tonight the light started flickering then went out, started smoking and caught fire. They worked great for 2 months, not sure what happened. I contacted the manufacturer and they responded immediately and offered to send new replacement lights free of charge. I bought these to add some extra visibility to my recumbent bike. All 4 will be received with non-working or broken LED elements

Luckily I tested these LED strips as soon as I received them. All 4 samples were connected to a 12V DC power supply (see attached picture showing all 4 strips in operation). The strips consist of 28 individual LED elements mounted on a circuit board in a metal frame. All 4 strips had several non-working or faulty LED elements "right out of the box". Weak cells unbalance the current distribution, causing others to be too bright and consequently reducing lifespan. I sent this item back the next…
