📀 Dazzle DVD Recorder (Classic Edition) Review

I've been looking for a cheap way to digitize my VHS for a long time. The Dazzle DVD Recorder was just what I needed. The price is reasonable and I found it easy to use. Just plug it in, insert a blank DVD into your PC, press play on your VCR and record on your computer screen and you're done! You can also burn videos to your hard drive if you prefer. Dazzle worked well at first but then the recording slowed down so the end product was poor. I contacted support who advised me, among other things, not to run other programs at the same time as Dazzle. They also advised me to download the latest video capture unit drivers. I already knew that this is not a plug and play product as Pinnacle claims. What I didn't know is that Pinnacle offers no setup support, refuses to fix issues with tiny output images and poor quality, and, as many reviews suggest, searching for help on YouTube only works if you try to record with gaming platform. good product. I was able to transfer my miniDV tapes directly to DVD. It was a bit of a learning curve, but it's a very simple process. I wouldn't agree with other reviewers that the files have to be copied to the hard drive first. This product is not intended for this. Yes, technically you can do it, but it won't look like a good MPEG file.
