The only thing I didn't like was that the trigger connector is on the back when mounted on the starter on the left side of the Ford 8N. makes it a bit difficult to get a nut with my big hands.

I bought this while upgrading my 1963 Ford 601. I went from 6v to 12v and got a new magnet just to make sure everything was new. After installing this solenoid, this is the first time I try it when it's stuck. I would rather return it but I need one more tractor

Don't buy it I installed it and it ran long enough to get the fuel back on and now it cranks and won't stop, until I pull off the battery terminal! Read the reviews, it's a common problem. Unfortunately, I didn't jump into this project fast enough and my return window is closed, so I guess I just ate up the cost of that paper mash. Not at all satisfied.

This relay and new starter were purchased from Revain. This relay will not work the first time. On the second attempt, the starter fired after turning the starter switch several times. On the third try the relay worked and got stuck with the contacts in the closed position. I had to hastily disconnect the battery cable to disable the starter. It still hangs in the closed position. The old relay installed, the starter works perfectly.

Didn't work at all out of the box. The inner contacts are already glued. The starter stayed on without turning the key. Replaced with a new one from O'Reilly, starts fine. I haven't spoken to the seller yet. Update: Refund requested, it may be a defective product from the manufacturer. Not the seller's fault. The return is in progress. Couldn't give a 5 due to the quality of the product. Didn't want to give less than two due to supplier issues but could have sold a better product.
