Once I had a good source, everything went fine and I'm running.

Purchased because I suspected my new low power motherboard/processor combo was not getting an adequate power good signal from an older ATX power supply. Once I had a good source everything went fine and now I'm burning but so far so good, pulling 18 watts from the line with a mobile device, 1TB WD hard drive, 4GB of storage and a Silenx fan .

Frustrating - internal power supplies

Mainboard with Intel Atom D525 processor and laptop HD could not be started. The 5V line is stable, but during boot the 12V voltage drops to 11.6V and the board shuts down. The board is designed for a maximum power output of 90W, and the 12V power supply input never went below 12.15V.

Pros
  • Looking forward to
Cons
  • Almost never

Works on my A6-6400 Mini ITX

Use it on the Mini ITX A6 base system in my gaming machine. Seems to be working great. However, it introduced quite a bit of noise into my speakers. I had to put a ground loop isolator in between. Maybe just my speakers, but that was the problem. I took off a star for the noise.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Volume

Nice concept though. . .

I thought the QNAP NAS would be a great match for this power supply. but I was very wrong. Installation was difficult due to the circuit board at the top of the connector. I doubt many systems have that much headroom. I had to disassemble almost everything to get there. I gave him an 11 amp Xbox 360 power supply for a system that draws 4 amps with 6 amp peaks. However, upon booting, the power went out completely, and one of my 6 terabyte drives failed. So I lost $150 in hardware, 1.5 days of…

Very good, but beware of voltage drop

Good. The price is great and the device is tiny - perfect for my Ryzen 5 3400g itx build. The integrated GPU was a must, and the full-size power supply is almost the same size as the case I'm using. It runs Sea of Thieves smoothly at 60 fps and 1080p resolution. I run a 20 and 12 volt brick system. Defect. The number of slots is limited. I had to use adapters to connect the 4-pin CPU power cable on the PSU to the 8-pin on the board. Not a big deal, but every adapter adds a voltage drop. Now…
