Feels great, already a bit rusty

I just have to say this switch looks fantastic. I thought the shift knob on my stock Ford Focus felt heavy compared to others, but this thing feels FLESH. The only problem is that there is already some rust on the inside of the handle (2nd photo). Not that important for the interior, but certainly not the best quality control. The threaded adapters have proven handy, but they will definitely be difficult to remove if you plan on changing your spare boots at any point.

  • Good product for the price

Misleading description of

The handle seems solid and well made (hence 2 stars instead of 1). However, the description is misleading. While there are many grips with M12x1.25 thread adapters, for some reason there are very few options for M12x1.5 that my Audi needs. It was the only one I liked in the sub $100 range. It's nothing that can't be solved by drilling or buying a separate adapter, but if I had known that upfront I probably would have gone for one of the many other options without a matching adapter. I suspect…

Excellent quality, affordable and HEAVY pen!

I bought this to replace a badly worn OEM knob on a 2004 Mazdaspeed Miata. This new grip fits perfectly and is about twice the weight of a standard grip. Shifting is a little easier, and despite my hesitance to switch to a ball shifter, the feel is amazing. Also, the nice smooth finish on the handle matches the metallic gray finish on the outside! There is no shift template on the handle and no adhesive templates are included. The packaging was minimal and fit in easily. The handle was very…

Feels like a new gearbox

Buy now and you won't regret it. I wish I had known that earlier. It is so beautiful, smooth and most importantly heavy. It's a lot easier to shift than the factory button or the crappy aftermarket button that my car had. If you enjoy riding this quality or any other, a pound plus shift knob is the way to go. One thing the instructions don't mention is that there are slots on one side of the metal adapter. Place this side down on the switch stem. So if you sell your car and want to take your…

Sturdy shift knob, all metal and feels great! (Fits Subaru M12x1.25)

I couldn't justify spending $60+ on a shift knob for my 2013 Subaru WRX and also wanted to lower the height (despite a short lever). I remember DC Sports had a decent product when I owned my Acura so I went with this grip hoping the weight grip would be comfortable. The whole bullet is made of some kind of steel alloy, I think. It's magnetic, but not quite. Good weight, adapters are included, also made of metal. You basically screw the adapter (if you need one) flush and just screw the shift…
